Gallaudet University: Inside Gallaudet · Mon, Oct 23 2006
Fernandes was online Monday, Oct. 23, art 2 p.m. ET to discuss the reasons why she is not withdrawing her name despite growing opposition to her appointment as president.

When I saw where the Interview link was, I immediately knew this is a biased interview. If it is a fair interview, Gallaudet University won’t post it up.

This note from Washington Post:”Editor’s Note: washingtonpost.com moderators retain editorial control over Live Online discussions and choose the most relevant questions for guests and hosts; guests and hosts can decline to answer questions. washingtonpost.com is not responsible for any content posted by third parties.”

We know how biased the editors are with their one-side editorial articles covering the protest.  Fernandes have been given soft ball questions.  I am disappointed at the lack of integrity Washington Post had consistently shown, but I wasn’t surprised.

Fortunately  Susan Kinzie maintains a high integrity of journalism and keeps  an open ear to Gallaudet Community

  1. Definitely, for Fernandes on a live online had been biased since my questions never get posted. I submitted my question early before 2:00 pm, asking her about the graduation rates to which she did not post. And then at 2:15 I submitted another question inquiring her what she meant by “new order”…obviously she did not post it either. So much for her attempt to dialogue!

  2. We will see the history being repeated, the fate of the maloevolents.

Unless she resigns along with Levinson, Brueggeman and Graham.

  3. She avoided all the hard questions. I guess she doesn’t want to go to an interview where she has no control over.
