  1. Can anyone provide their profiles?

Family background? Deaf or Hearing family

What year each one are in ?

Are they from Deaf school or mainstreamed”

Any of them grew up orally or have Cochlear Implants?

Perhaps,, there is need a diversity of students as leaders for this kind of protest .. as of now .. the media portrays it as .. the Capital D of the deaf is corrupting Gallaudet.

Show me the diversity of different background of Deaf people perhaps this is what is needed to get the message across.

Tara Holcomb and LaToya Plummer means well but .. do not have enough poise or justifications to serve their meaning for the protest in the eyes of the media.

Hire a professional spokesperson or Public Relations firm.. Yes.. Even social justice have prices to pay!!

    Unity for Gallaudet ..

  2. I meant to remove This move is injustice was based on the hunger strike … which I do not support> FSSA and GUAA will be accountable for their actions but instead people are cheering and rooting for them ??? I am puzzled . Then again .. they are not really hungry .. they ve been eating here and there .. they would be in the hospital by now ..

    Anyways .. Student profiles ??? please ..

  3. I have a question for you.. Why LaTonya has to be bottom of the list? isn’t that a freudian slip here.. Wondering if they are committed to fight for racism or just a lip service? An inquiring mind would like to know!

  4. No. The students were ranked by the positions. Then, when two shared the same position, the rank was set alphabetically. There was no racism involved in the order of the list.

I’m not inclined to reveal personal information on these student protesters as it is not necessary. When I went on campus last Monday,  the range of diversity among the students I chatted with was obviously huge.
