University Faculty Officers’ Letter To BoT

Dear Dr. Brueggemann:

Gallaudet University is in crisis. This crisis has increased the communityճ awareness of the complex and serious issues that face us. As the result of the events of recent days, the University Faculty officers, with the support of their Advisory Committee, have asked Dr. Fernandes to resign immediately as president designate. Unfortunately, we believe that this is the only action that will allow our community to address these issues and move forward with the healing that we so badly need.  Please support our recommendation and encourage her to resign.
