Endless Pondering

Lesson Not Learned by DPS, Formerly DOSS?

How unreal! The DPS (formerly DOSS) clearly did not learn any lesson from the fatal Carl Dupree case where saw one of those DOSS officers applied a choke and hold method on his throat years ago.

What the DPS did to those poor students was absolutely brutal.

I vividly recall that I saw the DC Police tow truck driver punched John Maucere in his face during the DPN while John tried to talk to him out of towing one of those shuttle buses away from one of the gates. It was one of a known few physical contacts between the DPN protestors and DC Police & DOSS.

  1. It is disappointing that the new DPS has not learned sign language. They may have not learned a lesson, keep in mind there’s new director of several months, and perhaps the Carl Dupree case was forgotten by DPS. However, this is a DEAF University and there’s no excuse for not having the newbies to learn basic sign language!

My husband who works there, told me that he was not able to get in his office yesterday at SAC. The new DPS officers couldn’t sign and fortauntely, the old timer DPs office was able to clairfy that staff can go in offices. HOw can we communicate?? Especially there was alleged bomb threat and the students who were “blocking” the officer, did not know what was going on BECAUSE the DPS office did not commincate in sign language (where’s the pen and paper on his person(s)?).

    WIsh you all the best!
